Legal Question in Employment Law in India
I worked as an LIC agent and resigned after getting gov. job. But I am getting nenewal commission from lic for my previous work (asper sec.44 in insurance act ,1938) . Those who completed 5 years agency period will get this commission after resignation. I would like to know, is it legal to receiving this commission beig a govt. employee

absolutely yes. show this renewal commission in the income from other sources column in your income tax return.
