Legal Question in Employment Law in India
Hi All,
I Worked as a Software Eng for a company. As per my appointent letter I had to serve my 30 days notice period . I resigned from that company and by the management it was accepted as well and management confirmed my last working day (with compensate my EL ). But in the very last day they canceled my reliving and said to finish the whole project with client sign off. The project cold not be signed off because it is incremental and mean while client add's new functionality. Company has stopped my salary from last 1 and more then 1/2 month. So i left the company and submit all assets provided by company .
When i asked them to pay my pending dues and reliving documents. they denied and clearly said all payments will be done after client sign off. They threaten me by saying that " they can take legal action against me that you have not submitted company assets "and forced to work . But I finally leave the company without any documents and pending dues .
What legal action can take against company ?
