Legal Question in Employment Law in India

I am working in an IT company since past 1.5 yrs. My employment agreement talks about notice period of 2 months.I have another job offer with me that requires me to join with in 15 days. They are ready to buy out the notice period.

But when i put resignation in my current company, they have accepted my resignation but not ready to release me before end of 2 months. i also asked if i can buy out my notice period and get an earlier release, they denied.

Is there a way to get a release from my current employer in next 15 days (provided i pay in lieu of my notice period) ?

You may send them the notice period salary by registered post and join the new place.
