Legal Question in Employment Law in India
I am working with a firm based in Bangalore and based in mumbai. The firm has not paid me the salary for Feb2011 and are not taking my calls and neither responding to my mail request. They have also closed my official mail id. I have tried to call them on several occasions and sent them two mail reminders for issual of my salary, but all they are doing is avoiding. I have the appointment letter with me which states an 45 Days notice period for resignation or termination. I assume that i am still on the payroll as i have not received any communication from them on termination. Please guide on how can i get my rightful salary without much of fuss. I am looking for an quick solution so that i do not have to fight case that will go on and on for years. The salary due is over a lakh. Please guide.

In this situation you must serve them a Legal Notice through a lawyer.
Keep track of all your communications and mails sent by you to the company.
When did you stopped going to work ? clarify on this .
