Legal Question in Employment Law in India

I was working with a manufacturing company. I was a contract based employee for 1 year contract on third party payroll. I was handling many admin activities in a company. After 6 months I resigned, completed notice period and got relieved. I received all my letters and cheque. When I joined the company I was a fresher (After PG Diploma). I didnt have any prior exposure to attendance and salary calculations, maintaining huge personal data base etc. I even didnt receive proper training by the company. I learned all the things through work and tried to complete it accurately. I was the junior most employee and no one was properly monitoring my work. If some unintentional clerical or calculative errors happened by me during my tenure because of excess work pressure while preparing data like paying extra salary unknowingly ect and no senior did correct me while working and observing . would this be considered as crime and I would i be legally asked to pay all the money? Actually it has been 1 year since i left the company. But there is no such query from them. I have not directly handled any money of company I was only preparing data for calculations. Would my clerical mistakes be considered as crime and Would I be asked to pay for those mistakes in future? If somebody joins after me, and he commits frequent mistakes without understanding my previous data and organization is not concerned about training of newly joined person and monitoring his work by senior person, would I be held responsible for mistakes committed by the new person who joins after me.
