Legal Question in Employment Law in India

I am working in PSU and in two separate departmental Inquiry had been penalised twice for a single fault. The second inquiry had 6 charges against me out of which 5 charges are same as that in the first Inquiry. The second penalty had been imposed after I have undergone the first penalty.

I feel this is wrong and injustice had been done to me. What action can I take against the company as my career has been badly effected by these two penalty. The first one was minor penalty and the second one major penalty.

yes, this seems to be a case of double jeopardy. you may approach the lawyer with your documents and minutes of departmental enquiry and you may file the suit for damages and compensation.
