Legal Question in Employment Law in India
Hi, I had been working as science teacher in a pvt. school in haryana. At the time of appointment I was forced to sign that letter in which it was said school can end my services with only one month prior notice while I have to give three month notice if leave school. Also at the time of giving salary they ask me to sign at Rupees 12000/- while they pay me 7000/- cash only not through bank. Now I have left the school randomly.along with my one month salary which was lying with them as security. Now the school is threatening me of legal action if I don't pay them three month salary. I am puzzled and upset as what to do. please advice as where to complaint about this injustice and dictatorship. I want to teach them a lesson. Please advice..Thanks friends

Sir, I dont think there is something left for you to teach them. You did all the mistake on signing 1-3 months notice and also ack for the receipt of 12000 while getting 7000. Why didnt you raise your voice then? Court will see the paper and they made it clean. My advice will be to be silent and let them send notice. The matter should go to court but you left with minimal choice to win
it is advisable to see a lawyer and he would send a legal notice to the school for the malpractices being carried on by them. in case there are other teachers who could support your version, your case becomes stronger.
