Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
We have a commercial shop in Mumbai which comes under pagdi system. The landlord has expressed interest to buy one portion of the shop, can we put a proposal to the landlord to convert the rest of the shop into ownership in our name?
What is the procedure and requirements for converting a pagdi into ownerhip.

unless a lawyer pursues the padgi agreement, a safe way of procuring a title cannot be suggested.
