cooperative society rent act

Can shop keepers be made to pay for the repairs of the building of the cooperative hsg society in which they are the tenents or can we increase the rent to cover part of the repairs. The cost of the major repairs is appr 1.5 crores . Please let me know the relevant section of the rent act, etc.

buy a book and search for section otherwise contact advocate. you can get repair and deduct the same from your rent.
