Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
my dad resides in a tenancy flat since aproximately 40 yrs .this flat is in my grandfather name and after his death my dad and his three borthers and my grandmother used to stay in the flat. my dads three brother later moved out of the flat and then my dad and my grandmother used to stay .my dad and mom and i(son) were the only ones left after my grandmothers death about 22 yrs ago .we have all the rent receits for almost the last so many years .also my two uncles have died and only one is surviving .the two deceased uncles have kids after them .pls advise what are our rights .is it possible to transfer the flat in our name

your father can request the landlord to transfer the tenancy in his name.
