Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India

Dear Sir / Madam,

we have let out an individual house property in bangalore, under usual 11 month un-registered agreement. the tenant is staying there for last 3 years. last year we asked him to vacate, he refused giving reason saying that his daughter pregnancy care has to be completed, and agreed to vacate the house by Nov 2012(this month). we have this in email(writing).

Now he is saying he will need more time to vacate as he has not got any house.

with the tone of the speech and considering he has already taken 1 full year, this does not seem to be a genuine request.

i did consult last year and i understand that the legal process take 15 months time.

please suggest a remedy, is there a way to speed up this recover the house, since I have the email / written copy that he agreed last year to vacate by nov 2012 and i also have given an 1 full year time.
