Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
Dear sir,
I purchased a 3 storyed property in delhi. The ground floor of the property is let out to some tenants without any rent agreement or with an unregistered rent agreement.
The 1st and 2nd floors are in my possession.
These tenants are paying a low rent of approx 150 rupees each per month.
Is it possible to fix fair rent or to get the possession of the property.

If you are accepting the rent of Rs.150 PM then your case would fall under the Delhi Rent Control Act for any proceeding initiated by you against your tenants.
