Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
Dear Sir,
We have a commercial building in Kerala and a few rooms are rented out.
Now the rent is due and tenant is hesitating to pay or come for any settlement, I would like to know if I go for a dispute to recover the arrears is this a better approach? if so whether the rent will be paid for the period of the dispute addition to the due amount? When will be the landlord get the arrears, I mean will it only paid after the dispute over (I am afraid the dispute continues for long period)?
Appreciate your valuable advise.
Thanks & kind regards,
Suneer M

best way is file eviction suit and demand your rent also and on first date he has to pay your pending rent and after that you may also demand your litigation expenditure if he want to stay as tenant.
