Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
Dear Sir,
We have been staying in a rented house in bangalore from past 3yrs, we started our rent with Rs.4000/-as per our understanding we used to pay 10% hike every year? as of now our rent is Rs.4800/-. Now we have completed 3yrs so our landlord wants to increase rent once again just bcoz we have completed 3yrs? what does the law says? How much percentage can they increase in bangalore for single bedroom house? pls we need legal advice on the same.

The terms and condition for increase in rent must be mentioned in ur rent agreement....
go through and as per you can increase the rent..
