Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
My grandfather took a shop on rent more than 50 years ago, since then we've been working in tht shop nd paying rent, we have some of the rent reciepts, but for the last 15-20 years the owner has not accepted the rent...and now he's asking us to vacate the shop...
My question is,
what legal action can the actual owner take against us in order to vacate the shop?
And can we sell the shop?if yes, then what percentage of share do we have to give to the actual owner according to the law?
