Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
We have a house in chandigarh.
Gave it on rent 10 yrs back. the rent agreement expired long back & we did not renew it.
He has always been a default on paying rent. Either paying it very late or not paying for few months,
Now we want the house for our stay & we told him 6 months. He is not paying the rent now & also buying time from us for vaction. Since last 6 months he has not paid the rent. We deposited his cheques which bounced.
We sent him a notices which is not accepting & the same is coming back as house locked / undelivered.
There were 4 cheque bounces out of which he has accepted one notice & the other have come back to us.
He made a draft for one he recieved and has sent to us.
Pl help on wht to do. Should we file 106TPA / Eviction notice.
We need the house badly.
What are the probable solutions to it.
