land
my grand father gave his land on lease to somebody,the time of 30years has passed and my grandfather died, at that time,when my grandfather gave that land ,that region was a forest ,now government aquired that land and gave compensation to the tenant ,all the papers are in the name of my g/f ,now my question is ,how we can get that land or compensation

While acquiring the land Govt. might have given notice. If you have not got the comensation then you may give your representation to the collector and you may also approach the court in order to get compensation. Take advise of a lawyer of your vicinity.

The government must have followed the due procedure under the Land Acquisition Act under which you were entitled to file objections, if any, you had to the acquisition of land. Now that the land has already been acquired, you certainly are entitled to the compensation and not the tenant. The Government could not have paid nor the tenant could have received the compensation. So, your remedy lies in recovery of the amount of compensation with interest from the Government as well as from the tenant. You may file a criminal complaint against the tenant for having cheated you by receiving the compensation.
