i have only shop on rent in s.c.f -58 sec 47/d chandigarh my landlord annuly chargerd propertey tax from me & now he got govt notice for fire protection then he is asking me 15000 rs for making fire protection system in his building .i have only shop on rent nt full building on rent what should i do sir please guide me its humble request to u

You may follow the terms of your 'rent agreement/deed'. You may be responsible for payment of your share.

Is there any rental agreement by and between you both,if yes the problem you mentioned must have been written in the agreement as the expenses must be borne by the tenant for whatever facilities provided as per law to the tenant.If there is no agreement then you may refuse to pay.
