i am tenant in chandigarh.the landlady has filed numerous cases against me.in the first,she closed her evidence without any witness.in my evidence,i lost the original receipt on which i tendered rent.the court allowed secondary evidence for that.i submitted hanwriting report for proving the signatures on receipt as genuine.now,the landlady got frustrated.she filed another criminal case u/s 156(3) for forgery against me in another court.there,she submitted different handwriting report in preliminary evidence as counter-act.now,tell me,is it possible that forgery case can be registered on photostat copy.in one court,the handwriting report is in my favour and to mislead court,another report is against me.secondly,i submitted certitified notary attested copy for leading secondary evidence.the notary gave me affidavit that he attested the photostat copy after seeing the original.this affidavit is on record of court file.now,the notary is not appearing in the court.does the documents on record carry weight.please help me in hard position.

In a case pending in court, the best person to guide you is the counsel who has access to complete records.

In a situation like this appropriate opinion is possible only after perusal of pleadings and evidence on record as also the zimni orders passed by the court from time to time.

You should talk to your counsel for proper advice/help.
