Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
Landlord -Tenant Issues
I am residing in a rented accommodation for last 3 years. There was no formal Rent Deed prepared at the time of shifting at this place, nor there any Rent Receipt provided by the landlord. On this behalf, can landlord now file a case against me for non-payment of rent and ask for immediate eviction?

yes, if you cannot prove payment of rent, and he can establish that no rent was received by him, you may be liable for eviction for want of rent payments.
