Landlord -Tenant Issues

If a landlord sales his/her house with tenants still residing in it, then what are the tenants' rights to avoid sudden eviction???

Actually the tenant must be protected tenant under applicable rent act then only the things as tenant never changes the property owners may change it hardly matter . Where the owner changes there is fear to unprotected tenant

It depends upon which state the tenanted premises is situated. Each state has different rent laws. In some states there is a restriction for one year for a new landlord to launch an eviction suit against the tenant. If you could give the exact details, I could help you with a specific answer.

If proper notice had been given by origional landlord and also new land lord then the right of tenant shall remain intact.

Kindly refer to sale agreement if there is a clause that tenants will not be evicted then you are safe.
