Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India

Mhada Tenant issue

we have been allotted a flat by mhada in the year 1977, since then we were not able to stay there due marriage, hospitalization, divorce problems. we kept a person for some days who does not want to move out of the house from last several years. case is pending in mhada court

he don't have any papers. still the society & mhada allottement letter name is of my mother. mhada has passed a order in 2004 that both the parties should vacate the premises in 7 days. he has gone to appeal, question is : what will be the next order, what are the rules of mhada is there any changes that the original allottee will get the possession as the building is going to be reconstructed

Re: Mhada Tenant issue

Since the matter is already sub-judice, you may better seek opinion of your counsel who is conducting the case on your behalf.

If you still need any guidance/clarification, you may refer to the relevant law applicable to your case. You may obtain a copy of the Act / Rules through your counsel.
