MHADA transfer of rent receipt
Situation:
MHADA Rent receipt is still currently in Mothers name (deceased since 1992)
Father expired in 2007.
Elder brother has not been in touch since mothers expiry and has not been present at fathers death too.
Two married daughters (not court certified) presently share the premises,paying the rent since 91, upkeep and maintenance and all relevent original papers (ration card,election card,death certificates,rent receipts)are in custody of the daughters.
However elder brother (14 yrs age difference with eldest daughter)has faked a written will and signature of deceased mother made out in 1988-89..(not known to the father, daughters etc.. and has filed it in 1991 for transfer of receipt.
His name is not in the ration card presently.
He has been absent from 1991 and has not responded to any enquiry letters).
Can daughters get the receipt transferred to their names undertaking the responsibility to handle any problems that may arise from brothers possible interference later?
