Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
i occupy a commercial place from 1971 tenant ship is in name of my brother-in-law .The rent is paid direct to land lord by me.Now brother-in law wants the shop back witch was given to run by my in laws under mutual understanding How can i protect my place from going in the hands of brother-in-law?

when your brother in law is tenant and owner is some other person how can you claim the place as yours. only way you can try is by claiming adverse possession.
