Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India

pagdi law advice

i am the owner of a chawl in dahisar, which is rented on pagdi system basis. one of the tennants wants to increase the height of the room, but is not ready to pay me any money and is insisting on going forward and carrying out his plans with the support of a local politician, who can easily arrange for the muncipal permission and take care of the police. i am frightened that if this is done by one individual it may affect all the others and they too would carry out such changes, thus i want to nip this situation in the bud.can i bring a stay order against it?where and how to go abt it? and for what period is the stay applicable and is there any relief against it?or is there any other method for stopping her? kindly advise

Re: pagdi law advice

You may file a civil suit in the local trial court of your area and seek injunction against all the tenants. You may like to engage a local Advocate for this purpose.
