Pb Govt not vacating my office space

in chandigarh Bought property 5 yr ago where Pb Govt is my tenant. I am NRI and last year when I wish to request them they refused to vacte. Court case in Civil court in prelim stage. Can Rent act give protection to Government Also. I thought it was for public protection.

Please advise how to proceed in matter. No negoiations working out.

There is a special provision for NRI providing adequate safeguards from tenants.

without details it is difficult to reply your query.

in any case you have to go through the legal procedure and it consumes a bit of time in india. after some amendments civil procedure has become a bit fast
