Dear Dilip Arya,
(Cachar, Assam)
If the Government decides to compulsorily acquire the land, the owner(s) of the land will have to be adequately compensated with one or both of the following :
1. allotment of land of equivalent or more area in an alternate place in the same city;
2. financial compensation for hardship undergone as a result of acquisition & relocation.
