Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
I own a property.I have a tenant who is occupying a portion of my house for last 20yrs.They pay rent on a regular basis. Now I want to sell my property. The tenant is claiming 60 lacks for leaving the house inspite of the fact that the tenant have purchased a property already. How can they ask so much money although they have a property of their own?Is it legal?

in case you have the proof that the tenant is having a property of his own, you can get the order of eviction on this ground from the court. instead of paying 60L to the tenant, you may pay 10% of it to the lawyer and he may get you the order. where is the property situate.
