Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India

i purchased a shop in 1982 in which there is also a tenant running his shop since 1972 adjoining to my shop.legally i am the second owner of this building & also i don't have any agreement with the tenant.They had agreement with the previous owner.Total area of the shop is around 300sq ft.

From which i have around 210 sq ft. & rest of it with them.Now the thing is that i have two grown up

childrens who is sitting with me in the same shop & i want to expand my business for which i need

more space.So i already put an eviction petition u\s 14 1 e. but on the other hand there is no other avalibility of source of living to my tenant except this.So can u plz suggest me if this petition helps me to get my tenant evicted.

under 14 1 e law has to see your bonafide need and not the need of the tenant. the agreement with the earlier landlord will govern the terms
