Re: Rent case in chandigarh

There is no accommodation like 'two rooms in one canal house in Chandigarh' which may be available for 1,000.00

You should start paying the rent demanded, which is very reasonable as per Chandigarh standards, to avoid eviction.

The claim for personal necessity is not ill-founded. I would advise you to settle the matter out of court to avoid wastage of your time and litigation expense.
