Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
i rented showroom 20 years ago and landloard gave showroom to his daughter and said pay rent from noownwards to her and we started paying rent. suddenly she tells us to vacate , she has office next door. we just got setteled in business four years ago. can they forse us to vacate or how much rent they can increase.

Dear Sir / Madam,
It may be possible that the daughter may be wanting the showroom for her own business.
It is always better to negotiate a 10% increase in the rentals every year to avoid the possibility of being asked to vacate the showroom.
