Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
I'm residing in a south mumbai building.
It's a pagdi system and we have a land
lord who recently in partnership with a builder is considering to redevelop the building.My problem is after my father's death in '84 due to my financial conditio
n I was not able to transfer the house in my name.I have an elder sister married and she and her husband has no interest in the said house.Please tell me will the landlord charge me for transfer,if yes then what's the percentage on the value of the house or is it legally from father to son with a minimun charges.
