Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
Room Transfer - Pagadi Owner
My Grandfather had purchase a house (Area 220 sq.ft.) before 60/70 yrs ago but no legal documents ever made as of good relation. Our 2 generations are staying there and punctually paying rent of Rs. 65/- p.m. and we get a receipt on Mr.X (old tenant name)
And when we wanted to transfer the Pagadi Owner is Demanding for 1 lakh & more so it was pending due to negotiations
And without our knowledge he sell the building & now suddenly New Pagadi Owner came demanding for 4 lakhs.
1. How to deal with this situation legally to transfer my room (Pagadi Owner)
2. What will be the legal amount to pay ?
3. Where we can register our self for transferring in Mahda etc
4. Any personal guidance to save cost
Thanks & Regards.
