Security for Commercial Establishment
Our Society contains 30 Flats and 7 Shops. Entry to Flats/Society is from inside whereas the shops are in the open facing the road. Our Society is running in negative with a monthly shortfall of 10k.
We have 2 security guards working in a 12 hour shift. Recently one shop was burgled and the blame was put on the night guard.
Question - In our case, should Society take responsibility for open and road side facing shops?
We can't afford another guard as our finances doesn't permit it. How should this be resolved?

You may need to discuss the issue in the General Body meeting of the Society.
