Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
there is seepage in my Delhi flat originating from above my flat.The society has written to the flat owner for repairs. he is not carrying out the repairs. What should I do.Kindly advice.

Dear Sir / Madam,
If the seepage is from external sewage ducts, the cost of repair has to be borne by the Society. If the seepage is on account of any unauthorized constructions/additions/alterations, made by the builder / member / occupant of the above flat, you can also simultaneously contact the Corporation / Local Authority to redress your grievance.
