Sub-letting of TNHB Commercial space
One of my friends is holding a commercial space alloted to him by Tamil Nadu Housing Board. He is regularly paying the monthly rent. Now he proposes to allow someone else to occupy the same shop after taking a lumpsum amount. We need advice

As far as rules related to TNHB sub-letting of the property is illegal but the best you can do is enter into sub-lease agreement and then get it duly notarized mentioning all the specific clauses as to rent collection , eviction terms and conditions.
