Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
The syntex tank placed undergound has been tampered, but not damaged/ruptured by a tree grown beside that. Landlord tried to remove it and ruptured the body, which was infomed to the tenant after 4 days. As a result, thousands of litres of water has leaked making a huge water bill. Now landlord wants tenant to pay that bill. Although the damage was caused by Landlord, he says that the tenant allowed a tree to grow there.
