Sir, I am staying in rented house since 14 years, paying rent 4000 per month, owner wanted to sell the property to me,finally agreed for 20 lakhs, now he gave me a legal notice, what shall I do, I am running orphan hostel in the same premises.Pease suggest

you will not be evicted without due process of law. you reply the legal notice sent by landlord and show that you have never defaulted in making payment of rent and you also running an orphange. your case in the court may be stronger.

It will be a matter of mutual settlement. You should answer the legal notice appropriately. If he is seeking your eviction, you may defend the eviction petition on available grounds.
