Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
I had a visitor for a few nights, who fell'sick' then refused to vacate and became violent and virulent. Even though I requested several people to intervene ,time passed. The case is registered with the police and teshildhar but no one seems to be reacting - a year has now passed. Can she claim squatters rights or anything else- she has no documents or nor has any money been exchanged or demanded. what is my legal status as the land owner? and how do I get her off?
