wealth distibution among daughters
My grand mother has three daugters.Eldest daughter is staying in grand mother home for 30 years. Without other two sisters notice, all lands are transferd to the name of eldest daughter and some of the land under my grand mother name is sold.
Now my grand mother is died. If we ask about lands and wealth. She is telling i won't give anything to you people. We contacted lawer and explained about this. He told as all lands are on her name so you can't do anything. We don't know how to go ahead. can you suggest something??

i think you have been misguided. as the land belong to a joint family, you all have the equal right in the land even though the same are transferred in elder daughter's name. you may file a case for cancellation of title deeds in favour of elder sister and seek injunction against her restraining her from selling the same and also seek partition of the land.

In such situation you may have to do little homwork i.e try to find out how the title has transferred to the eldest sister. Once found out the future course can be decided from the same.
