advocate fee realisation

how to recover advocate fee from clients, when there is no prior agreement fixation of fee with party.

At least fees have to be orally decided while taking cases from clients.

The advocate should forget about the fee if there is no prior agreement. Advocate also work pro bono. It is a profession and not a business in India.

In fact trying to recovery any money from a client, without there being any agreement, will be unethical may also lead to disciplinary action if a complaint is made by the client to the Bar Council.
