Legal Question in Legal Ethics in India

Appointments

When State/Central Government initiates to fill a vacant post of a judge, as a part, the collegiums of state/supreme court judges out of prospective candidates who volunteer send a list or one to the Chief Justice who in tern forward the same to the Government for issuance of G.O for appointment. More than one case in recent times on such appointments is challenged by aggrieved parties. Few petitions are dismissed and some are allowed. In a particular case a judge of Madras High Court who happened to be a member of the collegiums of judges who recommended a name for appointment sat over a case for issuance of quo-warrento for the same appointed judge. On his order the appointed judge was deposed. Does this mean that the judge was deposed for reasons other than that of recommendation from the collegiums?
