Legal Question in Legal Ethics in India

Authenticity of replies

Can an attorney answer and record his opinions on this Forum to the questions about laws of any country or ONLY an attorney authorised to practice law that particular jurisdiction is entitled to record his opinions?

I am referring to the answeres / opinions recorded by Mr. Nasir Butt, Attorney-at-Law, Pakistan about the questions on Family Law and Property Laws of India; and more particularly about the Hindu Marriage Act. The resume of Mr. Butt does not disclose that he has a licence to practice law from any of the Bar Councils in India?

Re: Authenticity of replies

Mr. Pawse is right. Mr. Butt should have come forward by now to disclose if he has been enrolled with any of the Bar Councils in India and what is his legal standing to answer questions on Indian laws?
