Notice perios after resignation from a company
Hi,
I am attaching a informal cliping .Iam trying to get an earlier relive date from my company but they are denying it,even though iam ready for the buy-out option of the notice period.Let me know if as per the sentence below can i fight for a earlier releiving date.
''When you formally resign from the service of the company,the company may at its discretion,permit you to
1.adjust the vacation accumulated toward part of the notice period
2.pay up for the notice period in lieu there of''

The Company has cleverly kept the discretion to itself. You can't claim it as a matter of Right.
