Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in India
housing society
The Managing committee has decided to increase the monthly bill without convening the EGM . the bill has been increased inspite of the society earning net profits. The bill has been increased for cleaning of the main road which is outside the premises Could you let me know whether this is legal

The Managing Committee may be entitled to pass such orders if authorized by the AGM or the bye-laws.
However, if you find the order as unreasonable or illegal, you may challenge the same before R.C.S./ Courts.
