Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in India

sir i am working as a chief medical officer in public sector company hospital.recently i got one notice from local police station that they have received one secret information that doctors in my hospital are not doing there duties properly.for this the police officer send me one notice and ask me to visit police station for clarification.my query is
1 can a police officer ask me to visit police station for clarification of working of my doctors on secret information
2 what should be my stand
3 anyone can give secret information in police station . should doctor be given notice by police and asked to be in police station for clarification
i will really be grateful for your advice and suggestion
