Religion is a mendatory disclosure while submitting joining formalities to your employer hence the religion may be changed after the employer is duly informed in advance.
Informing employer will not cause negative impact on service conditions, however religion may be changed even without informing the employer.

Right to practice religion is a fundamental right. Right to convert to another religion is also a fundamental right.
However, there may be reasonable restrictions by law and the Rules applicable to Army Personnel will have effect notwithstanding such fundamental right to practice religion.
