Legal Question in Personal Injury in India
I have one accident case pending under IPC 279, 337 & 338. And case filed on 16th august 2010 and i joined a company on 19th august 2010. According to company policy you should not have any civil/ criminal case pending in the court before joining the company.
I talked to my lawyer and he is saying that accident case does not come under criminal act so you do not have to worry.
I just want to know whether my job is secure or company can take against me. I have told company about the case (I have given the affidavit on 100/- stamp paper).

the offence is criminal only and despite the fact you gave a wrong undertaking, it may not effect your career as the offences are not serious in nature.
your lawyer has advised you correctly as the accident case does not fall in the category which would affect the employment.
