Legal Question in Personal Injury in India

I met an accident on the highway, which near by suryapeta town.

I was way to Hyderabad with my family, a Rickshaw puller coming towards Hyderabad.

All of sudden he took the right turn and my vehicle hit the rickshaw at the right side.

The person came out from the rickshaw and fallen on the wind shield front glass.

Immediately i took him for first aid, after first aid as per Doctor's suggestion we took the CT scan for his head, as there was light injury. As per the CT scan report Doctor said that there is no problem.

But they were insisted me to pay the amount. I was against to pay the amount and police were registered the case with 337.

In the police station I have given a letter and started to Hyderabad. But I do not know the further proceedings. How I have to manage the issue..
