Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

What 2 do?I

Is it sufficient that I have shown a property as my own in my income tax returns , as a proof of my ownership over the property 4 twenty years? In a civil suit 4 ownership, I am UNABLE to prove as to from which source of my income a purchased the property. The provisions of Benami act r NOT applicble in the facts & circumstances of my case.

Ownership of property can be proved by title deed and not be showing it in your accounts or returns.
